Hi, Everyone

I will try not to pepper you with information, but there is an important change to the schedule:

Boys’ Discus Throw has been moved to SATURDAY MORNING AT SALESIANUM.  It will begin as soon as the girls’ discus is completed.

Girls’ discus is Saturday morning at 9:00.  This has been the schedule in recent years due to afternoon baseball games at Salesianum.  This year, the boys’ discus also has to be moved due to a lacrosse game on Friday.  In summary:

Girls’ Discus:  Saturday, 9:00am, at Salesianum.
Boys’ Discus:  immediately following the girls.

Other notes:

 

• Performance Lists will be posted for coaches’ review on www.n5cta.com by Tuesday at 9:00pm.  Challenges to the validity of performances must be submitted to me VIA EMAIL ONLY and must be received by 6:00pm Wednesday to be considered.  At that time the meet will be seeded.  Heat sheets will be in your meet day packets.  
• I can not accept any further substitutions, additions, or changes to your entries.
• Coaches’ job requests are being honored whenever possible.  Preference is given to those who made their request first.  Ultimately, I am staffing the meet to make it run smoothly.  Invariably, some of you will be unhappy with your assignments.  Please know I am doing my best to accommodate everyone.  I hope to have the job assignments posted on n5cta.com by Thursday night.  It is imperative that everyone be at their jobs on time and stay for the duration of their assignment.  Do not forget to bring your student helpers!
• Your meet packets will contain important information on checking in for track events and checking out for field events.  Bottom line:  have your kids check in at first call to avoid problems.
• Many teams have still not sent me a list of their coaches names.  If their names are not on the list at the gate, they will have to pay to get in Saturday.  Please do no leave this to the last minute.

NOTES:                                 

A list of all coaches' names must be sent to the meet director in order for them to be admitted free.                                

Job requests are being honored on a first come, first served basis.                                 

Submitted performances must be ACTUAL, not estimated, and must be documented in the Spring 2008 season ONLY.  Relay splits may NOT be used for seeding in individual events.  Entries not sufficiently documented will be changed to "no time".  Documentation must include DATE and LOCATION and whether hand-time or automatic timing was used.

In addition to a coach's job for each team, a minimum of two student helpers

is also required from each team.  Jobs will be pre-assigned and requests

honored whenever possible.
