Ryan Invitational @ Belmont Plateau

Amy Kelly of St. Hubert's became the sixth girl ever to break 19:00 at Belmont Plateau. The others include two Foot Locker finalists, Sheila Klick and Julia Pudlin, plus Norristown elite Donna Fidler, Amy's sister, Jackie, and Council Rock's Jessica Cickay, who set the course record this year. The effort led her team to a second place finish behind Cardinal O'Hara, who placed three in the top five, led by Danielle Schopf's 19:26 2nd place finish. In the boys race, Cardinal O'Hara dominated, tallying just 27 points with a one-two-three finish of Steve Hallinan in 16:19, Joe Francisco in 16:24, and T.J. Coll in 16:35.
