| The N5CTA (New Castle County Coaches’ Cross Country and Track Association) was founded in 1979. Phil Hershey of Wm. Penn H.S. was the first President of this organization. The main objective of N5CTA is to promote Cross Country, Indoor Track and Spring Track in New Castle County and the state of Delaware. The Association sponsors the annual New Castle County Cross Country Championship meet, the weekly Indoor Track meets at Tower Hill, as well as the Diamond State Relays, Twilight Relays and the New Castle County Championship meet for Spring Track. The N5CTA also honors the top athletes in the state of Delaware at the annual banquets for Cross Country, Indoor Track and Spring Track. |
