Henlopen History 
The Henlopen Conference as we now know it was originally very different.  There were, until the late 1960's, many more high schools in Kent and Sussex Counties than there are now ....Consolidation!  Jim Blades has gone down Memory Lane to supply us with a great list.   Here are a few for you!!!!   Dover Air Falcons, Felton Green Devils, Harrington Lions, Delmar Wildcats, Greenwood Foresters, Bridgeville Mustangs, Rehoboth Seahawks, Millsboro Blue Devils, Selbyville Rebels, Lord Baltimore Lords, J.M. Clayton Bears, Milton Warriors.    There was also the Diamond State Conf.  That is another list.    For history's sake, who can fill in any more info about these schools, many of whom had proud XC and Track traditions.  Who was in the Diamond State Conference? What were their colors and nicknames?  Which ones were merged to form which current schools?  Maybe some fun for Old-timers and history lesson for not-so-old-timers.  Email contact@n5cta.com
